Lori Macgowan

Having been a top-producing full-time residential REALTOR since 1992, Lori is passionate about her work. Her buyers and sellers are her top priority.

A little about Lori.  She is on the Board of Directors and Membership Committee of the Avon Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Prince Thomas Savoy Italian Club in Avon (in the Monthly Book Club (PageTurners), and is on the Board of Directors and heads up the Membership and Hospitality Committees of the Nutmeg State Orchid Society. She belongs to the Encore Group (a social women's group consisting of women from Avon and the neighboring towns).  Lori has been a Notary Public for many years and is always happy to notarize whatever is needed at no charge).  She is currently learning how to play acoustic guitar, taking painting and stained glass lessons.

Lori has lived in Avon, CT, since 1985 and raised two beautiful children, Jeff and Susan, in the Avon Community.

Specialties: Many former clients are still in the homes she sold them many years ago. Negotiating skills are an important part of Lori's work. Getting a real estate offer accepted and working to keep it together from start to finish, along with getting along well with all parties involved are two important aspects of her work. Professional exposure of their home and knowing she is always finding ways to get their home sold in the shortest amount of time at the highest possible sale price are an important part of Lori's marketing plan for her sellers.  She goes over and beyond to find homes for her buyers and buyer's testimonials are always referencing going her going above and beyond and getting them into a house.
